Steelwing – The remaining members Alex, Oskar and Robby from the local heavy metal band Hellevator, formed Steelwing in 2009 together with Skürk and Riley

Steelwing – It came from the skies

Steelwing – Riley on vocals. Alex & Robby take care of the guitars while Nic and Oskar handle the rhythm section

Steelwing – Riley write the lyrics. Music is crafted by Alex/Riley and arranged by Steelwing

Steelwing – The lyrical concept, on our soon to be released album, describes how the current flawed state of mankind must be sacrificed to pave way for a transhumanistic future, or continue on its current path and face extinction
MMP – Who are some of your musical influences?
Steelwing – Everything that’s good, classic or new stuff
MMP – What is the band like when you play live?
Steelwing – A post apocalyptic heavy metal assault
MMP – Have you guys ever played in another country?
Steelwing – We’ve been on tour in Europe and South America so far
MMP – How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?
Steelwing – On our own club shows it can be around 300 people, more or less. Can be thousands on festivals.
MMP – How is the crowd response when you play?
Steelwing – Usually striking
MMP – When do you guys plan on writing any new material?
Steelwing – We just finished writing our new album, so it will take a little while
MMP – What does the future hold for the band??
Steelwing – Release the new album and tour some, see you on the road!
